Images of Washington's skyline taken through the windows of "The Cairo" located in Dupont Circle. Built in 1894, this historic building remains the tallest residential structure in the District. Ongoing debate over lifting height restrictions was part of the motivation to capture this uncommon urban panorama. The images juxtapose both interior and exterior settings, as seen from DC's landmark high-rise.
